Major in SuccessTM

Patrick Combs TV Star. Band Manager. Videogame Tester. Script Writer. Corporate Manager. Best-Selling Author. Professional Speaker. Rags. Riches. ALL BY 29.

Patrick Combs has been invited to speak at Harper College nine times, at Texas Christian University seven times -- schools keep inviting him back. For the past nine years, Patrick's Major in Success presentation has been one of the most sought after programs on the college circuit. He has presented it on over 500 campuses nationwide including Penn, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Babson & Stanford.

In this profoundly life-affecting keynote, Combs teaches students exactly how to get the most out of college, tap into their passions, and land a great job. He motivates students to take actions that create lasting, positive life changes. And it is never a run-of-the-mill boring lecture. Patrick keeps it highly interactive, exciting, and fun with giveaway items, props, computer graphics, and audience games. From the World's Largest Fastest Group Interview to a shocking and unforgettable ending, this presentation is guaranteed to help student's succeed.

Combs graduated from San Francisco State University, a B student, after paying his way through college managing a rock band. He earned a prestigious job at Levi Strauss & Co. as one of their youngest managers ever, but at 26 he walked away from his high paying job to try and help student's succeed. While writing his first book, and launching himself as a speaker, he went $50,000 in debt in pursuit of his ambitions. To make ends meet, he tested videogames for Electronic Arts. By 28 he was a published author, a fixture on the speaking circuit, and sponsored by a Fortune 100 company to tour the 75 biggest schools in America. He closed out his twenties with a guest-starring role on two #1 television shows, Hard Copy and Real TV.

His first book, Major in Success,
has sold 100,000 copies, is published in two languages and used as a college
text at more than 100 universities. He donates 100% of his royalties to
charities

His many accomplishments at a young age inspires
students to sit up and listen. And when they do they get hot tips such
as:
  • Five steps to land a great job at graduation
  • How to discover what your true passion
  • How to set goals that get results
  • The essential resume ingredients that land interviews
  • The key homework that will never be assigned
  • How to breakthrough fear the six big fears
  • And much more.
